Getting Out and About

In recent times the Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp has expanded its horizons. When resources permit we now offer our services outside of our primary location of Motutapu Island. The following are projects that we have undertaken. They include instructional services but we can also assist in the development of safety procedures and operational plans.

Venture Lodge

We are proud to be the suppliers of instruction for Auckland Grammar Schools' Venture Lodge, located in Ohakune. Under the supervision of our instructors the groups experience full-on week containing a range of activities including, mountain craft, tramping, caving, abseiling, geo-caching, rope work and much more.

Duke of Edinburgh

We are also experienced in and able to offer Duke of Edinburgh programmes and assessment either here on the island or based at another location throughout the North Island of New Zealand.
